W24 MARK 2 AND THE FRETBOARD

This week we presented Mark 2. I started to design the fretboard. I tested out Mark 2 and begun to find suitable mechanical parts.

Because the scale length will vary with the size of the resonating box if I want to keep the same tone the fretboard will change with it. It won't be a quandary for the advanced user, but it will be useful it the tones can stay the same.

• Develop the moving fretboard.

Again it's getting more and more sophisticated to achieve this function.

The technician thinks wooden structure is not strong enough to support it. He insists use mechanical parts like a bolt. However, the stander thread is too narrow. I tried to find suitable mechanical parts online but failed.
