Early this week I found out it doesn't matter the tin will turn or not as long as it stays in the frame. I spend two weeks trying to solve a problem doesn't excite. Then I changed server schemes and made prototype No. 7 as mark two.

I looked back to my design requirements at the first stage, a neck of a string instrument that can combine with boxes of any sizes and shapes to form a whole musical instrument machine-freely with excellent using experience. Then I reviewed the attachment method I listed at the earlier stage. I tried to developed ideas from the last prototype and came up with something using a bungee.

The problem of the previous prototype is it's hard to make the neck still as when I move to adjust the size the neck and the lower bridge will move with it in the different direction. It's getting more and more complex trying to fix a problem with another problem. Although I found another unusual shape, it won't have any use on this issue.

I got a piece of a bicycle tire to have a quick test on sketches below. I also talked to Shawn about the flexible guitar. I want to expand the variety to make it more attractive.

The way I see this problem changed after I spoke to Malcolm. He suggested me try another dimension. All the prototypes before are attempting to fasten a resonance box horizontal. I've never worked to think on a vertical plane. So I used the same technic from the previous prototype to made the seventh prototype.
