This week I made three new schemes in cardboard and fasteners. I talked to technicians and built a wooden prototype. I had total and spoke to my tutor again. I found myself lost in this process.

I realized I still didn't get used to the design process. I spend too much time trying to come up with a perfect scheme. Stay doing sketch not a quick prototype nor talk to technicians.

The prototype of cardboard turn out one is too flexible to use, and the other one seems possible. Both of technician and me like the interaction of the third one. But I haven't come up a way to make it adjustable in size.

We made the second one in MDF board I tried out on water cooler; it turns out only four connecting points can make a round tin stable.

I talked to Andrew; he thought I lost myself in trying to find this eight-point thing. My original idea is trying to make the connection stable and can be applied to different shapes and sizes not trying to turn a square shape in to a circle by creating eight points.

I even started to come up with more ideas. Trying to reverse my thoughts from transform a square into a circle to transform a circle into a square.

Even trying to get inspiration from a 3D toy I found in tiger.
