W21NEW SCHEMES square to circle

This week I spent all my time trying to come up with new schemes. The general idea is to transform round shape to square shape and square shape to a round one so I can use the same method to adjust the size.When we draw a circle, we'll start with a square. Then we'll find eight points and connect them to make a circle. These schemes are trying to create eight points from a square shape to make sure a round shape tin will not move around inside.

I decided to give up my thought to stuck my product from the inside (Prototype No.2) because I fond it hard to have a better sound without blocking the surface. After I had spoken to my tutor, I decided to stick with wood as the material do not try plastic.

With calculation, I came up with three new plans below.

I found myself frequently sink into details. I tend to think throughout a scheme. When I test it, it would be typical for me to find there are some major problems so this plan will not work. There is no need to design details before test out the general function. I've been wasting time on doing unnecessary thine. I'll start to adjust my design method and work with technicians more.

The technicians suggest me only work on the movable part without think of how the neck will attach to it for now.
