W18 PROTOTYPE NO.ONE from the outside

This week I build my first prototype. It's inspired by the saw I used when I studied jewelry design. I also had my second tutorial with my supervisor. These are the sketches and what I've to learn from this prototype.

We discussed:
1. The model I made and the problems I found while making this model.
2. How can my product be more different from conventional DIY instruments?
Her recommends:
1. List all the problems I found and try to solve them one by one.
2.Bring the model to the people I met while doing user research ask them for professional advice.
3. Think about manufacture. DIY instruments are individual. Music lovers only make one piece of instrument my problem is how to make it to production stander.
We agreed that:
I'll make another prototype before mark 1, trying to solve the problems I found and improve the design, which is also my original plan.
