IRREVERSIBLE
It’s a course work of 12-mins filme produced by 7 people. My part is director; screenwriter; Storyboard and soundtrack.
Script
The script has been changed for five times before been finalized. All of the versions have been discussed thought team numbers and our tutor. I tried to create a series of increasing conflict in a very short time and push it to an unexpected but reasonable dramatic ending. Therefore we changed the script several time trying to enhance the plot.
This story is about an ordinary guy who is so inconspicuous that people keep ignoring him all the time. He is the last person been served in the restaurant, his college sat right in front of him doesn't know his name. He tried every thing to been noticed even wearing a blue wig but he failed every time. One day he found a magic coin by chance, every time he flips this magic coin time will go back a couple minutes. He was so happy he thinks he can finally caught people's eyes as he can foresee what's coming now. But still, people keep ignore him no matter what effort he made in advance.
He is so frustrated that he's going to give up trying. He's wandering on the street suddenly he is hit by a car and badly injured. He raised his hand about to flip the coin to go back in time and avoid this traffic accident. At this very moment people near by gathered around to check if he is ok. He drops the coin on the ground and smiled. He finally realized his dream, been noticed by people, in the most unexpected way. And he gives up his life to keep this dream.
