BABY SAY
This is an device designed for the parents of infants to 2-years-old baby. It can notice the parents as soon as the baby needs to change disposable diapers by app on smart phone. It is a group work by 4 people including myself. A start-up company asked us to design the shell for their chip. . All of the pictures are from my part of work, if not I will note.
Research
My grandpa suffered urinary incontinence in his late years. I found it is a common complications from cancer. So I suggested to the client that we could apply this technic in both ways. Well they still prefer the infants market as the first shot. Therefore we interviewed five teachers whose kid is under 2-years-old about changing diapers. Then we compared the competitors products to find our breakthrough.
Target Users
Young parents between 20 to 35 who can’t receive the assistance from last generation. In China grandparents help their children to look after the grandkids is very common. But for those who can’t receive help, baby sitting is very executed. In China there are trust issues to hire a domestic worker.
Value
We expended the value from checking the movement of the baby, notice the parents to change diapers to Collecting information, recording the growth of babies, providing nursery advice even social community and shopping advice about nursery.

These are my main contributions to this project: 1.the attended mode I proposed was adopted. 2.The side view of this device I proposed was adopted. 3.the upper shell of the device was designed by me and one of my team numbers. 4.the packaging.
